Please abstain from addressing Mike directly, in second person, in such vicious and spiteful manner. While I have often trolled him, I address a nondescript virtual identity called “Mike”, not a human being “in front of me”, not a person I’m talking to directly. “Mike” could be anybody; it sometimes was me, it often was somebody else, even though he doesn’t seem to believe so. What you do when you speak directly to him on the other hand amounts to sheer cruelty. It hurts me a bit too, because while he can be dense and irritating at times, I think he acts in good faith. So he doesn’t deserve to become the singular target of hateful abuse.
