On whether the Admin and mods are different people, or one and the same –

Doubt we’ll ever know.

But when the Admin emailed me to force me to stop posting with changing user names, and force me to use only one user name, at risk of having every comment I ever posted with any name deleted in one button push, the Admin’s e-mail began

“There’s no need to explain anything, mods have been well-aware of your comment patterns for a long time.”

So – I suspect there’s at least three people, possibly many more, involved in operating the site. The Admin, and enough people acting as “mods” to make the use of the s to pluralize the word make sense, and, perhaps, still others?

Additionally, the User Submits instructions that the site has now removed used to refer to “mods” having the final word on whether movies we requested would be posted. . .

So – I’m going with they likely are not one and the same. Knowing how wrong I might be.

And believe the site will never reveal how many people are involved.
