This is a follow-up to my first comment. What a disappointment! As usual, Momoko’s performance was right on, but where did they dig up that goofy-looking kid with the Three Stooges haircut? Talk about terrible casting. The husband was good but that chubby, little unskilled kid ruined the movie for me. The fish bit was so hokey! Get some good writers and let Momoko do a good drama. For me, her best movie is still JUL-313, where the casting and storyline were excellent!
That chubby, clumsy little boy completely ruined the movie for me—yes, really—to the point where it becomes completely unrealistic. A woman who’s been married for 16 years to a kind, hardworking man who provides her with every comfort she needs—even though she has no income and is a housewive —and yet they want us to believe that this woman gets a divorce, destroys her home, and abandons a comfortable life for a young, fat, ugly, little son of a bitch who can’t do anything, has no income, and has the IQ of a chimpanzee? If such a woman exists, then it’s a blessing for the cuckolded husband that this whore is getting the hell out of his house
